Run Training Success Stories
Shivangini’s Story: 0.5 minutes to 7 km
Running WAS something I HATED & DREADED. I blamed the ‘flat foot’ & bronchitis that prevented me from running. I could only run for 30 seconds, when I signed up with Fitho. They promised, “We can make you run in 2 months”. So, we got started. I got an easy to follow running plan from Fitho, without any diet restrictions (I’m a foodie). The plan was easy to follow, and amazed me at how it made me run. I would also follow Fitho for tips on running. I started to enjoy running, looked forward to it, made running friends by dedicating 20 minutes on alternate days to runing outside (no gym for me). On day 40, I just kept running & did not want to stop. That day I ran for 30 minutes flat. It was an amazing experience!
In 2 months, I ran the 7 km race at Delhi Half Marathon 2009, in 49 minutes. The accomplishment is still difficult to believe!
I can proudly say, that I’m a runner! I feel fit, liberated & its my latest hobby!
My Current status: Planning to training with Fitho for the 21km Delhi Half Marathon in 2010!
